"Spread The STM Love" Blog Contest

STM readers all over the world, to celebrate STM's 4th month in the blogosphere, I am launching the blog's first ever contest!

Here’s what you should do:

First, you have to be a follower of the blog to be eligible to join. Just find the “S-TeaM” bar then hit the “Follow” button. Then sign in with your preferred account (Yahoo, Twitter, or Google).

You also have to follow the blog’s Twitter account at www.twitter.com/stmusicblog.

NOTE: You have to follow both accounts (the blog and its Twitter account), or else your entries will not be valid.

Copy any of the blog’s banner (posted below) and post them on as many websites as you can, be it your personal website, social networking account/s, forums you visit, etc.

Take a snapshot* of the site where you posted the STM blog banner then send it to us through the blog’s official email at stronger.music.blog@gmail.com with subject “STM Contest Entry – Your Complete Name”. Do not forget to include the complete web address of the site where you posted the STM blog banner and your complete address, on the email's body. Only entries that follow the prescribed format will be counted.

I know I shouldn't have kept you waiting
But I'm here now...

 Dear S-TeaM,

I'm sorry for the lack of updates for the past few days. I know the last time I updated the site was like 10 days ago. I've been dealing with a lot of (personal) things these days and I was not at my best state to make updates on the blog.

Last week, my cousin died of slaughter by some unknown people. There were five of them. All under the influence of drugs. Luckily though, all the suspects were arrested and now detained for murder. Twas one horrible experience for our family.

The story didn't end there though. A day after my cousin was laid to rest, my maternal grandmother died of cardiac arrest. She was 79. Our family is currently experiencing one of the most difficult times. And so all I ask of you guys is understanding and prayers.

Today, I decided to finally update the site. I know I owe you guys all the wonderful things that is happening with STM. To know I have loyal visitors like you who keep on checking the site from time to time, inspires me in a way that God, family, friends and music inspire me to go on with my life no matter what challenges come my way.

For this month, I intentionally chose to make the blog colorful. Since STM's debut, you been seeing its black layout over and over again. This time though, I decided to make a change. I wanted to give you guys that positive, happy feeling everytime you visit STM, thus, the colorful layout.

We've all been in the dark for quite some time. Now, let's embrace life. Let us be inspired by music.

This is STRONGER THAN MUSIC

OK, after lots of convincing, I finally gave in and put up my own blog. Blame my friend slash greatest “fan”, Charlene Antoinette Mamaril Javier a.k.a Hybrid Cha (or Karmic). Haha! Well, the idea came from our usual conversations about her blog and our common interest in music, which is my first love, by the way. Everytime we would meet, Karmic would always convince me to put up my own blog. She would always tell me that I’m an “authority” when it comes to music and that I should have a “place” where I can put all my thoughts and knowledge about music. I was hesitant at first, to be completely honest. Thing is, I actually think blogging isn’t my thing. Plus, the fact that I fail big time in maintaining my personal accounts / websites. Even my e-mails, I fail to check sometimes. But I like the idea of having my own blog. She didn’t actually know but I was considering it. So one day, I started making my blog. I thought so hard about this one that even on my way to work, I would think of what to have on my blog to make it unique.

So, enough of the long introductions.

Ladies and Gents, Today, on my 26th birthday, I officially launch the product of my LOVE for MUSIC. Sit back, chillax and enjoy reading my music blog. This is… STRONGER THAN MUSIC.
