Australian Queen of Pop, Kylie Minogue is definitely back! 3 years after her last studio album X, Kylie’s bringing us her latest effort, “Aphrodite” which serves as her 11th studio album.

Let me tell you Kylie fans that it’s definitely worth the wait coz listening to the whole album is indeed an enjoyable experience. Kylie managed to tap amazing song writers and producers for this record, and the best part is, Stuart Price is the executive producer! No wonder this effort is in the same league as Madonna’s 2005 record, “Confessions on a Dance Floor” which is one of Price’s most memorable works.

Aphrodite”, like many critics would say is “magic”. Listening to the disc definitely feels like listening to a collection of Kylie’s biggest hits. She managed to put up an album which is reminiscent of her past works. All the elements of her earlier hits which made us love her as one of pop music’s queens are present in this record.

The album’s first single, “All The Lovers” is fun, midtempo pop track with infectious bass and synths. It is like the baby sister of Kylie’s “I Believe In You”.  One of the record’s best tracks is “Everything is Beautiful”, a slow jam which boasts of a strong, thumping bass and bad ass electronic touch to it. “Get Outta My Way” is a fun pop track in the same way as Kylie’s past singles “Love At First Sight” and “On A Night Like This”. Meanwhile, “Closer” is undeniably a Stuart Price creation and would actually fit on Madonna’s “Confessions…” record. The album’s title track, “Aphrodite” is as beautiful as the Goddess herself. This track is something that people in club would jam to once blasted by the DJ.

Overall, “Aphrodite” is undeniably one of Kylie’s best efforts. It’s got all the elements of a great pop record and is very much Kylie Minogue. No doubt, club goers and pop fans are going to love this magical piece of music.

REPEAT: All The Lovers, Get Outta My Way, Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love), Closer, Everything Is Beautiful, Aphrodite, Looking For An Angel, Can't Beat The Feeling

SKIP: Too Much
